Life isn’t too bad when you get to wake up to a sunrise. It’s even better when that sunrise is over the ocean.
On our final morning by Kirra Beach, I was woken by the gentle light of sunrise slowly filling my room. I had fallen asleep with the window open, so the fresh rays of morning sunshine, growing steadily stronger, threw a beautiful golden light into the room.
I climbed up and stepped out onto the balcony, and breathed.
The apartment was still, and there were only a few people milling about on the street below me. For the most part, the world around me was quiet and still sleeping, and I sat alone and peacefully, enjoying the pink and orange hues cast across the skyscape.
